Working with clients who have dementia calls for specialized knowledge and skills. This class is designed to unfold the “typical” progression for Alzheimer’s type dementia and explores doula methods to attend to the dying when dementia is present. INELDA’s Navigating Dementia class is intended for death doulas who have completed an end-of-life doula training. Classes will meet for 4 sessions with one optional weekend group Q&A with your educator(s).
