Description: The experiences of one generation often influence and have impact on subsequent generations. This training will give an overview of the impact of trauma over the lifespan and how that impacts parenting/family. Participants will be introduced to tools for screening and strategies to help support the treatment process.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1. Learn and be able to implement current research findings and best practice recommendations for various behavioral health conditions.
2. Engage in interdisciplinary learning, including the ways in which multiple disciplines can contribute to best outcomes for patients.
3. Examine current practice and determine how these should be modified to integrate updated practice guidelines and recommendations.
