Proactive Grieving is embracing your grief, not fighting it, medicating it long term, or ignoring it; it’s living with the loss and choosing to being transformed by it. Proactive Living is choosing the best road for you as a reinvestment in life; exploring ways that empower you to grieve “out of the box” and address each aspect of your loss that is uniquely yours. One can choose to become an intentional survivor & legacy builder or become collateral damage.

Saturday, October 7 will include various workshops to choose from, located at Shalom Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Workshops: 20 Faces of Grief and Messages from Heaven with Mitch Carmody, Expressive Writing for Healing with Mary Potter Kenyon, Journal-making with Cathy Corkery, art therapy for healing with Mitch Carmody, Roundtable discussion for those who have lost a child
